Welcome to Outdoor Toolkit Pro (hereinafter referred to as "the App", "the Service" or "we"). Before using the App, please carefully read and fully understand these Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as "these Terms").

1. Service Description

Outdoor Toolkit Pro is a comprehensive tool application designed for outdoor sports enthusiasts, providing the following features:

1.1 Core Features

• Altitude Measurement: Real-time altitude display based on GPS and barometric sensors, supporting metric and imperial units
• Compass: Magnetic compass and bearing display, supporting true north and magnetic north switching
• Speedometer: Real-time speed, average speed, and maximum speed display
• Outdoor Dashboard: Comprehensive display of altitude, speed, direction, barometric pressure, and other environmental data

1.2 Track Recording Features

• GPS Track Recording: Record, save, and manage your outdoor activity tracks
• Track Statistics: Detailed data including distance, duration, speed, elevation gain, etc.
• Track Visualization: Display track routes, start and end point markers on the map
• Track Import/Export: Support for importing and exporting GPX format files
• Data Analysis: Professional analysis including elevation curves, speed distribution, etc. (VIP feature)

1.3 Other Features

• Map Navigation: Real-time map display, supporting Apple Maps and Google Maps
• Watermark Camera: Take photos with location, altitude, time, speed, coordinates, and other information
• Multi-language Support: Support for Chinese (Simplified/Traditional), English, Japanese, German, French, and Arabic
• Theme Switching: Automatically switch between gold or forest green themes based on language

2. User Registration and Account

The App can be used without account registration for all basic features. All data is stored locally on your device.

• You do not need to provide personal identification information to use the App
• VIP subscriptions are managed through your app store account and do not require in-app registration
• You are responsible for securing your device to prevent unauthorized access to your data
• You can delete local data or uninstall the App at any time

3. Usage Rules

When using the App, you agree to comply with the following rules:

3.1 Lawful Use

• You must comply with the laws and regulations of your country and region
• You must not use the App for any illegal purposes
• You must not use the App to infringe upon the legitimate rights and interests of others
• The use of GPS features may be restricted in certain areas or locations (such as military zones, nature reserves); please comply with local regulations

3.2 Prohibited Actions

• You must not reverse engineer, decompile, or crack the App
• You must not remove or modify copyright information, trademarks, or other proprietary notices in the App
• You must not use the App to spread viruses, malicious code, or other harmful programs
• You must not interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of the App
• You must not bypass VIP subscription restrictions through technical means
• You must not use the App for commercial purposes or secondary development

3.3 Content Standards

• Track names, photos, and other content you create must comply with laws, regulations, and social ethics
• Content must not contain illegal, violent, pornographic, discriminatory, or other inappropriate information
• Although data is stored locally, you are still responsible for the content you create

4. VIP Subscription Service

4.1 Subscription Description

• Free Version Limitations: Free users can save up to 3 track records
• VIP Benefits:
  • Unlimited track storage
  • Track data analysis (elevation curves, speed distribution, etc.)
  • Export tracks as GPX files
  • All advanced features
• Subscription Period: Monthly or annual subscription (as displayed in the app store)
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions will automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period
• Free Trial: First-time subscriptions may include a free trial period (if available), which will automatically convert to a paid subscription after the trial ends

4.2 Payment and Refunds

• All payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• Subscription fees will be charged to your app store account
• Refund policies follow the app store's refund rules:
  • Apple App Store: Please refer to Apple Refund Policy
  • Google Play Store: Please refer to Google Refund Policy
• You can cancel your subscription at any time in your app store account settings
• After cancellation, you can still use VIP features until the end of the current subscription period

4.3 Price Changes

• We reserve the right to adjust subscription prices at any time
• Price changes will be notified to existing subscribers in advance
• Price changes do not affect the current subscription period and will take effect upon the next renewal
• If you do not accept the new price, you can cancel your subscription before the current period ends

5. Intellectual Property

The intellectual property rights of the App and all its content (including but not limited to software, text, images, icons, interface design, animations, sound effects, etc.) belong to us and are protected by copyright laws and international treaties.

5.1 App License

• You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App, not ownership
• Without our written permission, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or commercially use any content of the App
• You may not use the App for any commercial purposes or secondary development

5.2 User Content

• You own the intellectual property rights to the track data, photos, and other content you create
• GPX files you export can be freely used and shared
• We will not access, use, or share your personal content

5.3 Third-Party Content

• Map data is provided by Apple Maps or Google Maps, and their intellectual property rights belong to the respective service providers
• Intellectual property rights of open-source libraries and third-party services belong to their respective owners

6. Disclaimer

6.1 Data Accuracy

• GPS Positioning: May have an error of 5-10 meters due to device hardware, satellite signals, weather, terrain, and other factors
• Altitude Data: Based on GPS and barometer, may have certain errors due to atmospheric pressure changes
• Speed Data: Calculated based on GPS position changes, may be inaccurate at low speeds or when stationary
• Compass: May be inaccurate indoors or near electronic devices due to magnetic field interference
• Map Data: Provided by third-party map services, may have delays, errors, or be incomplete
• We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the data

6.2 Service Availability

• We strive to maintain service stability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• Service may be suspended or interrupted due to:
  • System maintenance and upgrades
  • Equipment failures or network issues
  • Force majeure (such as natural disasters, wars, government actions, etc.)
  • Interruptions of third-party services (such as map services)
• We are not responsible for data loss or other losses caused by service interruptions
• We recommend regularly backing up important track data

6.3 Usage Risks

• Outdoor Activity Risks: You should assess the risks of outdoor activities yourself and take appropriate safety measures
• Device Dependence: Do not over-rely on electronic devices; carry backup devices and traditional navigation tools
• Battery Life: GPS and map features consume significant power; ensure your device has sufficient battery
• Network Connection: Remote areas may lack network signals, limiting map functionality
• Harsh Environments: In severe weather or dangerous environments, prioritize personal safety
• We are not responsible for any personal injury, property loss, or other damages resulting from the use of the App

6.4 Limitation of Liability

• To the maximum extent permitted by law, we provide the App on an "as is" and "as available" basis
• We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the subscription fees you paid in the past 12 months

7. Privacy Protection

We take your privacy protection very seriously. For information on how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

• By using the App, you agree to our processing of your information in accordance with the Privacy Policy
• We adopt a "local-first" strategy, storing all personal data only on your device locally
• We will not upload your personal data to any remote servers
• You can delete local data or uninstall the App at any time

8. Service Changes and Termination

8.1 Service Changes

• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate part or all of the Service at any time
• We may add new features, modify existing features, or remove certain features
• Significant changes will be notified to users in advance through in-app notifications
• You can choose to accept the changed Service or stop using it
• Continued use of the App indicates your acceptance of the Service changes

8.2 Service Termination

• User-Initiated Termination: You can uninstall the App at any time to terminate use of the Service
• Termination for Violation: If you violate these Terms, we have the right to terminate providing the Service to you
• Service Discontinuation: If we decide to discontinue the Service, we will notify users in advance
• After Service termination:
  • You should stop using the App and delete all copies
  • Your VIP subscription will be handled according to app store rules
  • Local data will remain on your device until you uninstall the App

9. Terms Modification

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Modified Terms will be published in the App and, in case of significant changes, notified to you through in-app notifications.

• Modified Terms will take effect immediately upon publication
• Continued use of the App indicates your acceptance of the modified Terms
• If you do not agree with the modified Terms, you should stop using the App immediately
• We recommend regularly reviewing these Terms to stay informed of the latest changes

10. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

10.1 Applicable Law

• The formation, execution, and interpretation of these Terms shall be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China (excluding Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan regions)
• If the laws of your region conflict with these Terms, local laws shall prevail

10.2 Dispute Resolution

• In case of disputes, both parties should first attempt to resolve them through amicable negotiation
• If negotiation fails, either party may file a lawsuit with a court of competent jurisdiction
• During dispute resolution, both parties should continue to perform the undisputed parts of these Terms

11. Other Terms

11.1 Entire Agreement

• These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the use of the App
• These Terms supersede any prior oral or written agreements

11.2 Severability

• If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect
• Invalid provisions shall be replaced with valid provisions that most closely approximate the original intent

11.3 Reservation of Rights

• Our failure to exercise or delay in exercising any right under these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right
• We reserve all rights not expressly granted to you under these Terms

11.4 Assignment

• You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent
• We may assign our rights or obligations under these Terms to affiliated companies or successors
