This Privacy Policy explains how the NoPopups application (the "App") handles your information. Please read it before using the App.
1.1 The App collects no personal information. There is no account system, no sign-up, and no login.
1.2 Specifically, the App does not collect or access:
1.3 The App contains no third-party analytics SDK and no advertising SDK.
2.1 Popup blocking, ad blocking, and cookie-notice dismissal run entirely on your device through Apple's Safari Content Blocker and Web Extension APIs. Your browsing history never leaves your device and is never visible to us.
2.2 Blocked-item counts, allowlist entries, and app settings are stored only on your device, inside the App's private storage area.
3.1 Rule updates: the App periodically downloads static blocking-rule files from a content server so blocking stays effective. These are one-way downloads. Nothing about your browsing — no URLs, no page contents, no identifiers — is uploaded in the process.
3.2 Purchases: if you buy the one-time Pro unlock, the transaction is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive no payment information from Apple. Apple's handling of that transaction is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.
4.1 Because no personal information is collected, none is used, analysed, or profiled.
4.2 There is no processing of personal data within the meaning of the GDPR, and no sale of personal information within the meaning of the CCPA.
5.1 We do not share information with anyone, because we hold no information about you to share.
5.2 No data is sold, rented, or transferred to third parties.
6.1 All App data lives only on your device. We operate no server that receives it.
6.2 Deleting the App permanently deletes this data. If you back up your device to iCloud or to a computer, the backup may include the App's data. That backup is created and controlled by you and Apple, not by us.
7.1 You have the right to access, correct, export, and delete your personal data. Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing on our side to act on.
7.2 You remain in full control of the data on your own device:
8.1 The App is rated 4+ and is intended to be suitable for all ages, including children.
8.2 Because no personal information is collected from any user, none is collected from children under 13 (as defined by COPPA) or under 16 (as defined by the GDPR).
8.3 The App contains no user-generated content, no messaging, and no way for a child to communicate with anyone through it.
9.1 We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised version will be published at this address with a new effective date, and will be linked from the App and from the App Store listing.
9.2 We will not widen what the App collects without stating it here first.
