Welcome to Cryptogram Daily (the "App"). These Terms of Service (the "Agreement") form a legal agreement between you and the developer of the App regarding your use of the App. Please read this Agreement before using the App. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by it.
The App provides a daily cryptogram puzzle: a quotation in which every letter has been replaced by a different letter, which you solve by deduction. It also provides a practice mode containing the full puzzle library, together with streaks and statistics. The App works entirely offline and requires no account.
2.1 No registration is required. The App does not create or hold any account for you.
2.2 You agree not to use the App for any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations.
2.3 You agree not to interfere with the normal operation of the App, or to attempt to extract, redistribute, or resell its puzzle library.
2.4 The App is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use.
3.1 The App itself, including its software, design, and interface, is the intellectual property of the developer.
3.2 The quotations presented in the App are taken verbatim from literary works that are in the public domain. The App claims no copyright over these texts.
3.3 You may not copy, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit the App's software or design without authorisation.
4.1 The App is provided "as is". While we take care to present accurate public-domain texts, we make no warranty as to the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of any content.
4.2 We are not liable for any service interruption or defect arising from technical causes, including device failure, operating system changes, or the availability of the App Store.
4.3 The App may be updated in future versions, and features may change or be removed. We will make reasonable efforts to keep it working on supported versions of iOS.
We may modify this Agreement when necessary. The revised version will be published at this address, and you may consult the current version at any time. Continued use of the App after a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any dispute arising from this Agreement shall be resolved through friendly negotiation; if negotiation fails, either party may bring an action before a court of competent jurisdiction.
